Katarina Wilk is a journalist and a health and medical writer passionate about the female body. When she entered the menopause, she wrote a book about her own experience to guide the readers through this sometimes quite difficult period in their lives. The result is presented in her book Perimenopower. A book that combines research and facts with personal experiences to guide, inspire and include the readers.
She loves literature, travel, yoga and film. And to read medical research results. And the most important thing in her life are her two sons. One of them inspired her to write the YA-novel about the modelling world, as he is working as an international model.
Katarina was born in Poland and now lives in Stockholm, Sweden where she works with communication and PR within the Film industry. She speaks fluent Polish, French, Swedish and English. She can also understand Spanish quite well. She wrote her first story when she was 11 years old – Murders at the hotel room and even though her main focus is health, exercise and medicine she has plans to continue with her dream of writing fiction in the near future.
