A stand-alone sequel to the The Happy Ever After Writing Club that has touched so many. Joy has everything, yet she is never as happy as her name suggests. When she sees an ad for a writing course that will make participants happier in six weeks, she signs up. Maybe it can prevent a breakdown before Christmas?

At the course, she meets Valter, who is so lonely that he's left his Christmas tree up since last year, no one comes to visit him anyway, and Sanne, the architect who's been forced to join the course by her colleague.

They all need the tools to cope with the most demanding family holiday of the year, but Sam the writing tutor knows that the power of the pen can take them further than that. Unexpected friendships are made, words open new doors and Christmas... well, it's not what any of them expected.
