Cilla Storm is back – and comes across her most eerie mystery yet.

Summer is approaching and on Bullholmen in the Stockholm archipelago the colonial grove is greening up. Crime journalist Cilla Storm has finally got a little greener fingers, but her boyfriend Adam longs for a bigger cottage in the country and Cilla realises that this may be her last summer on Bullholmen. At the same time, a sailboat drifts towards the harbour after a stormy night. On board, the sixty-something Viveca Gyllenström is found dead.

Cilla begins to unravel Viveca's death and soon wonders if it could be connected to the infamous Gyllenström murders in the 1960s – when Mr Gyllenström and his landlady were found murdered in the family's flat on Strandvägen. Together with Rosie, Cilla's retired friend with a nose for mystery, the hunt for the truth about the Gyllenström family begins. But it soon turns out to be darker than either of them could have imagined...
