Christmas is approaching in Sankt Anna and the flower shop where Matilda Stjärne works is full of hyacinths and amaryllis. Matilda loves Christmas, but not this year. She is newly single, and has not told her parents yet because her mother Lillian will grieve the breakup more than Matilda herself. Big brother Andreas runs a successful advertising agency and should be happy. But something is wrong in his relationship with his partner Valerie and the balance in their lives is wavering. Middle sister Daphne has a CV longer than a Ullared receipt, but no job and she despairs. When she is offered a job in her childhood town, Daphne hesitates, Sankt Anna is full of unprocessed teenage drama. But, the account echoes empty and she leaves.
Christmas in Sankt Anna is as sparkling and pine-scented as always, but for the Stjärne siblings everything changes this Christmas.
