Moonshine and Mozzarella

In the late 80s, Sussie Sand was Sweden's biggest pop star. But more than thirty years later, she has retreated to her large villa in Hälsingland. When she breaks her arm and this year's Christmas concert is cancelled, she is forced to accept something she has put off for many years: publishing an autobiography.

As a ghostwriter, she is assigned to Mattias, a struggling author whose successes are in the past, and who now translates romance books about dragons to earn any money at all. Together with Mattias, Sussie will dig into the past, but she soon realizes that many wounds are still unhealed.

When the duo is given the opportunity to go on a cooking trip to Piedmont in northern Italy, they grow closer and closer. And on the trip they also get to take Sussie's life-threatening neighbor, Steffi. Can Piedmont's wondrous views and delicious food cook three hearts that have been dormant?
